New Plush: Sam from Trick R Treat + Denny from Squidbillies

Thought I'd share 2 new geeky plushies I made in the last quarter of 2011.




A friend of mine asked if I could make a plushie of a character from the bad horror movie Trick R Treat.  I watched the movie to get a better idea of the character (it was pretty bad) that he wanted plushified, Sam.  Even though the movie was bad I really did like the little Sam character. He was super cute + creepy, right up my alley. My friend wanted not one but two of these, one to keep and one to give as a gift.

Here is a view of one of them from both sides. I really liked that he had a little butt flap. :D


Here are the two of them together. I made their killer lollipops with model magic, lollipop sticks and acrylic paint.






Once again I made a plush from the show Squidbillies, for my sister.  Her husband and I conspired this time to make Deputy Denny. I even made some felt accessories to go with him, like his gun, hunting knife and his space glasses.
