Yeah I said it: makeup bib.

Here was the problem: when I put on my mineral makeup in the morning I would get makeup dust all down my front, which of course wouldn't just brush off.
Sure a towel worked, but it was clumsy and would fall off when I moved my arms.

Enter the makeup bib.

Which I have heard rumor of being around in the fifties.

And what says fifties more than gobs of lace?

And what design would look more appropriate with gobs of lace than: a Victorian bib style blouse which would work perfect for coverage.

Et voila:

Velcro closure at the back of the neck.
Little hangy dealie inside so I can hang it on the bathroom door when not in use.

Took a couple hours and I don't know how many yards of various acrylic lace.
