granny square tote

so i made these granny squares when i first started my crochet adventure in january (like, last month)

and was trying to figure out what to do with them.

after much thought, and more crocheting, i made two more squares, and then crafted a tote bag for the projects i'm currently working on. click for a little bit bigger pictures:

i have no idea what the yarn all is - it's the yarn i've had since... well, quite a long time, really! the handles were purchased at JoAnn's, and the sides & bottom are plastic scrim - needlepoint canvas, and i've had that for as long as the yarn too. heh.
