ultranovajewels' personal journal account. I decided to join on this account since I still do plenty of non-jewelry crafting and crafting for myself that I do not wish to market, but still wouldn't mind sharing with other crafters. (:

I was inspired by an Etsy seller to create my own journal covers. I've been making computer graphic videogame-character journal covers for a long time, but decided to try handcrafting one this time. This one is called Butterfly Garden, and it really lightened up my mood to make it and got me thinking about enchanted gardens and springtime. (: This is my first attempt.

I'm really, REALLY big on irl paper journals and diaries. I have many, many volumes of past journals, and my current journal always goes everywhere I go. I love pretty journals, and though I still like buying ones that I just can't pass up, I prefer to make my own covers because it's way more personal that way.

Sorry about the huge glue blob under one of the leaves..the glue hasn't dried yet!
