Kitchen Art
Mar. 12th, 2012 02:03 pmI saw a kitchen plaque idea on a crafting blog party recently and thought I would make one to camouflage an area of damaged wall in my kitchen.

I found a scruffy piece of wood in my father's carpentry shop and did noting but dust it off. I purchased cutlery from the dollar store and played with the placement until I liked how the utensils looked.
I stuck them to the board with guess what? Silicone caulking used to seal tubs and tiles. I used the kind that dries clear. This is probably or actually definitely the wrong thing to use and I am sure there are a number of products that work better but this is what I had in the workshop, and it works - so there.
You can use whatever hardware you prefer to hang it once the cutlery is well adhered.
