Check out my ribbon wreath!

I made this wreath for my best friend for her wedding. Teal and pink were her wedding colors, and I added the flowers they were using for their bridal and bridesmaids bouquets.

Here are the materials I started with:

I started with the large teal ribbon because it was the biggest roll. I cut approximately 3-inch pieces and used two straight pins to push each ribbon circle into the foam wreath. I used a combination of push pins and tacky glue to attach the flowers.

I kept adding the ribbon rolls all over. I used one kind of ribbon at a time, then once that was finished I moved into the next roll. I realized I needed more ribbon than I had started with so I bought more, but I didn't use all the ribbon pictured.

I snipped a piece of each ribbon I used making the wreath. The coloring in this is off though and the ribbons that look red are actually a vivid pink. You'll see I used 1-inch ribbon and also smaller ones. They are grosgrain or satin ribbons, and the only sheer one I used is the small one on the end.

Finally I used tacky glue and a bunch of straight pins to attach the large hanging ribbon, and I used tacky glue to attach the initials. The whole thing cost me about $50 to make and I spend about 5 evenings on it. I definitely won't be making another unless I can get ribbon on sale!
