oh my god i accidentally hit delete when i was editing this i am so embarrassed
Hello! I've got a project I want to do, but I have a bit of a conundrum on how to achieve a certain part of it, and there was nothing in the memories about 'how to properly hold together and attach a fake tree to a corner of your wall' or even 'how to staple heavy not-flat shit to the wall'. I'm sort of worried it's going to turn out I just didn't know the right words to look for and be a dope, so please forgive me.
Anyway, background. There was a hotel I stayed at and in the room, one corner was dominated by a fake tree attached to the wall with little lights strewn through the branches. Gee, I thought, this looks awful pretty.
So I want to do it in my room! I have the lights and I have the pieces of my 'tree', but I'm not sure how to put the tree together in a way so the fake plants won't fall apart, and how to stick it to a wall without it falling off. I'm really bad with wall stuff. It tends to... fall.
SUMMARY OF QUESTION: What is a good way to solidly assemble silk plants (long plastic stems with leaves), and what is a good way to attach something heavy to a wall in a corner so it won't shift? It doesn't matter how much of a mark I leave on the wall.
