Cushion Pattern Ideas

Hi guys, inspiration needed!

I've just bought some fabric, 27x44 inches of this;


I've promised my friend I'd make her 3 or 4 cushion covers (small cushions, we're talking 40x40cm sort of size). I'm going to buy 2 plain fabrics which pick up colours from the flowers (I'm thinking the gold/yellow and the green) and then put them together to make the patterned fabric go further.

I'm thinking something patchwork/quilted in style but I don't want all 4 covers to look the same; has anyone got any good links/ideas/examples?  I'm looking for something quite clean in style - nothing twee!
