fun idea!!!
May. 27th, 2002 05:06 pmdo you ever go out thrifting and find a plethora of ugly hockey jerseys that you wouldn't really ever wear, but are some crazy bright orange or maroon that are just begging to be made over?
(sorry for cross posting!)
(sorry if the pictures are acting up... too much traffic= overloading or something... check back!)
well i found one with a cheesy picture of a tiger on the front that says "DALHOUSIE HOCKEY" and i wore it as a pajama shirt for a while, but then i got sick of it.

so i decided to make it over. i chopped the sleeves off turning it into a sort of weird prep school hockey VEST! i thought that was brilliant, especially if i added a white shirt and TIE. i kept the arm material for some sort of later project.
well, i'm glad i saved them... because i turned them into matching LEGWARMERS. all you'd really have to do is sew and elastic material around the top (the wrists of the arms) and slide 'em on and cut to the correct length.

i still have to adjust mine to my liking but they are amusing me so far!
well i don't know if you guys will like this idea, but i thought it was kind of fun.
go buy lots of hockey jerseys now!
