Dumpster Diving
Jun. 29th, 2003 02:15 amHas anyone here ever dumpster dived for Craft supplies and what not?
I know girls on getcrafty.com have, and was just wondering if anyone here has.
I apologize ahead of time if this isn't the place to ask this. :P
I know tons of girls who Dumpster Dive, but I've never been. (All the ones I know that do are online and aren't in my area, so I don't have anyone to take me for experience or whatnot.)
I was just wondering, are their certain rules for doing this, a certain etiquette?
Also, have any of you ever been caught redhanded by someone, and how do you handle that situation? (Say, an angry store manager telling you to get away or whatnot.)
I plan to try this out for the first time late at night, but I'm still a bit nervous about it. Any tips? Best places to find good things? Does anyone know any sites that have tips or hints on Dumpster Diving?
I did a search on here to see if I could answer these questions before I asked, but didn't find anything, so forgive me if I'm repeating anything. :)
Much thanks ahead of time! :)
