hi. just added myself.

a planet mobile... part 50 cent kit from ames' going out of business sale, part things i added.

broken embroidery hoop + twine + paper cranes = mobile fun.

this one is 2 untwisted coat hangers, paper cranes fastened with twist ties, and some flowers made a few summers ago from wire and toxic plastic-y stuff that dries hard.

i like to call this a backpack surgery. i had a kiddy backpack that had tiny straps that weren't meant for adults but i didn't want the fabric to go to waste. so i ripped open the back, took out the straps, sewed it up and sewed the straps together to make a shoulder strap. not too fancy, but it gets the job done and the fabric is pretty neat.

this is a wristband i made out of a loop from corduroy painters pants, a bit of elastic and some primative "embroidery" and "sewing" (corduroy is tough stuff). brown + pink is a great color combination, in case you didn't know.
