craftgrrl | making paper roses out of hearts

While I wandered aimlessly through the scrapbooking store, I saw that their punches were on sale. So, I was looking through them and on the display, the store had instructions on how to make a rose out of hearts. It looked really simple and pretty, so I bought the heart punch that I wanted to use anyway for something else, came home and tried it. Well, I can get each section okay, but I can't figure out how to put all the sections together. I also don't know how to put each section together without taping the whole darn thing. peh. Anyone have any suggestions?

Just for reference the rose had four layers. The first layer used four hearts in a circle, the next had three, then two then one heart rolled up for the center. I wish I could explain it better, but if I could explain it better, I could probably figure out the answer to my own question. Please help!
