Shrinky Dinks Rock!
Jul. 21st, 2003 09:52 pmSo... I was playing with Shrinky dink plastic, just to test and experiment before I try making something for hair pins. And I made this bracelet! I had such fun and it turned out so easy...

I used a circle a little larger than a spool of thread, then punched holes to either side with a regular hole punch. I cut out the shape, leaving some edge around the holes and drew various shapes - I sorta tried to follow a 'tattoo' type theme. The flash sorta distorted some of the pictures, but there's a butterfly, lips, a shamrock, the sun, a star, heart and a jester hat. :o) Used jump rings to connect them and a spring clasp at the end. Verra easy - worked on and off all afternoon as I read my homework.
I actually made too many little charm things - there are 7 here, and it's about 6.75" long - just right for my wrist.
Hope you enjoy! :o)
