super cute soap idea!
Jul. 24th, 2003 07:25 pmso my camera isn't working, so i have no pictures, but today at the camp i work at we made the cutest little soap things.
we took bags (tall and skinny, clear plastic bags...although any semi-thick plastic bags without ziploc-ness at the top will work) and filled them with clear soap that had a slight blue tint to it. we then put the bags down on the table, holding the top up so that it stood on the table (we put little, flat bottomed bowls on the table full of cold water so that it would harden faster than the top) and when the bottom had cooled enough, we put a plastic (kinda rubbery feeling) fish inside. we then twist-tied it shut and there you go! it looks like the bag you bring home a carnaval fish in! sooo cute!
and when you want to use the soap, just poke holes in the bottom of the bag and use it while still inside the bag. i thought it was pretty awesome. just thought i'd share.
(*hint..if you're gonna do it...green fish make the water look a bit greener as well...kinda gross then..but still very cute)
