rag quilts
Jul. 26th, 2003 10:27 pmhas anyone here ever made a homespun rag quilt?
i'm working on one right now, (2 rows left to go! wooo!) and you're supposed to wash and dry it when it's done to make the edges fray. here's the deal, our washer is broken but our dryer works fine. i can't afford to go to the laundry mat tonight. if i just got it wet and threw it in our dryer, do you think it'd work? i know i have to check the lint trap like every 10 minutes (which is the other reason i don't want to go to the laundry mat) but do you think the spin cycle in the washer does anything? or just the dryer?
thanks in advance, craft grrls! (i'll post a picture when it's done)
