A Candle Question...

Do any of you have any mold ideas for making votive candles? I have seen the kits at Michaels but they are very cost prohibitive for me right now. I want to make several votives as a gift so they would have to be uniform in size. Thanks for any help you might be able to give me. Please excuse the cross post.
