I've been wanting to try to make a stamp out of craft foam like I've seen others do, so tonight I made this stamp using the picture of me as a guide. Here's the picture and the stamped image.

These were made from the cardboard type stuff that a 6 pack of beer comes in. I glued a magazine picture of luggage on first, then stamped what looks like an old, hand-written letter and glued on some strips of patterned tissue paper and stamps. Then I put decoupagé glue over the whole thing and when that dried I painted one layer of tiny gold glitter over it.


Then on the backs I stamped that letter stamp again onto the red paper and glued a little strip of the tissue paper on one side. Then I wrote things about creativity, printed them out on the computer and ripped them off the page. I 'aged' the edges with brown chalk and glued it all together and then added the fringe and beads. The center one also has the glitter painted on it but I decided I liked it better without. :)
