after living in my "new" apartment for over a year, i've finally gotten around to hooking up my scanner. yay! to break it in, here's something i made for my friend's wedding a couple months ago:

we had our bridesmaids' dresses made, so i asked the dressmaker to save me the fabric remnants. i made each bridesmaid a little matching purse with her name embroidered on it, just big enough to carry aspirin/lipstick/kleenex, what have you. then i gave each of them a little bag of potpourri to put in after the wedding, so now they have their own personalized little satchels.



they're a little girly for my personal taste, but hey, it was a wedding, and everyone has to get flowery once in a while.
