Badger Hankie
Aug. 11th, 2003 08:28 pmI bought a 3 pk of plain simple hankerchiefs from a local Brooks Brothers Outlet store for like $15 or so, and decided to personalize them and give them as gifts! This is the one I made for my grandmother ("Nini"), who loves Noahs Ark. Kinda an off center picture, but its the best my silly camera would get. I used embrodery thread and a few beads (over the i's!), and I love the way it turned out :) Not super creative or anythin, but it was fun...cheap....and only took me a few nights in front of the tv!
To make it all even, I pinned cross stitching cloth over it, did my stitching, and then soaked the whole thing in warm water for a couple of hours. It softens all the threads in the cross stitch cloth, so I could pull all the seperated threads out one by one, leaving only the pritty design! Ahh the things my mom taught me.

Thanks for lookin! :)
