Crafty SOS
Aug. 16th, 2003 04:36 amI was decorating more boxes and I decided to mod podge strips of paper on but it won't dry and looks bad up close. I looked throught the FAQ and see other people have had problems with mod podge. It's my first time using it. It's the outdoor kind.
I have some spray acrylic, if I spray that on will it fix things? Or should I just sand it down and start over. I don't think I want to finish the rest of the box at this point. I think I might just stick to paint.
Which brings me to my next problem. When I paint stripes on the boxes (with painters tape) the edges are "fuzy". I tried using a straight edge lined up next to the stripe and repainting the base color on but I started making more of a mess. Luckily it was just on the side with the crooked stripe. Maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist (which is kind of sad because I don't have the motor skills for this kind of thing) or maybe it's cause it's 4:50 AM. I should really stick to sewing.

So what should I do craftygrrls (and guys?). Sorry for the mostly rant.
