i just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to the girls that discussed the homemade maxi pads a while back (thread here). i did lots of reading about the issues, and though months ago i would have been reluctant to try them, i sewed up a set this week and tried them and LOVED them!! i even ordered myself a "keeper" yesterday, and i'm so excited about getting into this movement, for myself and the environment. i'm encouraging my girlfriends to try making their own pads, since designing my own was so much fun. once i get my scanner reset up (i moved in june and haven't bothered to unpack a lot of stuff!), i'll share pics.

so THANK YOU girls - you've changed my life.
