Aug. 23rd, 2003 10:48 amI have a question for you bag and purse makers out there—
How do you sew in your linings?
I've been experimenting with a few different ways but I'm not satisfied with anything that I'm doing. Usually, I make the shell for the bag and then the lining. Once the outter shell is complete, I slip in the lining and attempt to sew it in at the top and then tacking it down at the bottom corners so it doesn't come out. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't because my measurements are always a little bit off.
Is there an easier way?
Thanks in advance!
