cat costume!

i've *finally* decided that i'm going to dress up as a cat for my friends birthday party, which is on Halloween. and these pictures from this site will be my inspiration:









i'll need to make that coat, or something similar at least...and some ears. how should i go about it? and also, what else should i wear? coz i can't just wear a coat...mehe. also, anyone got any tips on the makeup?...
