unicorn-based query... and a first time photo!

hello crafty girlies!

i have a bit of a query, i think it's a bit obscure/specific to be in the FAQ so here goes: my friend's 21st birthday is coming up, and i'd like to make her something really personal and quite classy really, but not too expensive (say in the region of £10-12, i guess that's about $15 or slightly more!) and i'd like it to involve unicorn decoration in some way, as she has a slight obsession with them! so any ideas would be muchly appreciated... i was wondering about decorating/painting wooden items in some way as i had so much fun painting this box...




i got the box for £1 at Ikea, and borrowed the paints off my sister, so yay for cheapness!

i know loads of people do decoupage and stuff with mod podge but coming from england i'm slightly clueless about all that, so any hints/tips would be great! sorry for the weirdness of the question, but it's my first post in this lovely community so be nice! ;)
