craftgrrli have an old ugly dark brown wooden table...and i want to put it in my living room with a yucca plant on top.

it's ugly...and boring...and ugly. so what can i do to it? please bear in mind i live in the UK, so don't go mentioning Michaels or Walmart...thanks ;)
