Laundering question
Sep. 9th, 2003 05:30 pmI am currently making what I call "kennel" snuggles for my veterinarian's office by crocheting two strands of thread with a K hook. The yarn I am using is stuff intended for a project that never got off the ground (Red Heart Super Saver 8 yarn).
My question is, I am a smoker and I would like to deliver these to my vet's office without the underlying smell of cigarette smoke. Anyone have any solid ideas on how to take as much of the smoke smell out of the snuggles before I deliver them?
Aside from quitting smoking, there must be a solution until I am able to stop this nasty habit.
I plan on making these for local no-kill animal shelters as time goes on as well.
Your help is appreciated.
