Just for general information, for anyone in the Southeastern United States that might be interested in any of this. Especially if you live out of state and just happen to have time to drive on in for a weekend.

International Gem & Jewelry Show

When: October 17th, 18th, and 19th

Historic Fort Pike Annual Craft Fair

When: October 25th and 26th

Where: New Orleans, Louisiana. At historic Fort Pike on Route 90 ( at the foot of the Rigolets Bridge )

Additional Directions: Fort Pike is located off U.S. Highway 90, 23 miles east of downtown New Orleans. The historic site is accessible from I-10 via La. Highway 11 South, which connects to Hwy. 90. Facilities include a museum, a picnic area and shelter, and restrooms. The site is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Standard admission is **$2 for adults and children (12 and under) and seniors (62 and over) are admitted free.

**Not sure if this fee applies during the fair, but still isn't much to pay.
