Hey y’all-

I made a really adorable messenger type bag. I needed a medium sized bag, and all of mine were super massive or teeny. A plus is that it is completly made of scraps.

I was late to work making this. The only thing it still needs is something to keep the flap down. I was thinking of that corded elastic with a button, or just a button with a button hole. Button holes can be difficult tho, as my machine is as old as I am.

I also make some really cute carrier bags for water bottles.

If I weren't so lazy, I'd sell them or something.

Front view, flap closed.

Hey people... I have a bracelet I made up for sale on ebay... sort of a test-marketing kind of thing for a site I'm working on. The price is really good for the materials I used - unbreakable Power-Pro thread, sterling silver toggle, czech glass lampworked beads. The knots are hidden and carefully glued with 527. The likelihood of the thread breaking or coming undone is a lot smaller than the likelihood of its eventual owner accidentally smacking it on something hard and breaking one of the glass beads (which, in my experience of wearing glass bracelets, almost never happens). It looks like stylized ladybugs.

If you're interested, it's here:

and it only has about 18 hours left on it! :)

(cross-posting this between a few crafty communities... sorry if you get it twice!)

I newness.

*waves* I'm new...yesh...I am.
Name ish Bonnie. o.o
I like doing art and O.o crafty thingies, and making most of my clothes ^-^ (actually, decorating old hamme downs, not making from scratch =P but I like `em.)

Anyways, I will try and post often ^^ and post craft projects and such.....=P

I think I will post one right now!! o.o

Erf...

o.O *looks at her handy dandy notebook (blue's clues reference not intended.) o.o

You know those checkered jeans that EVERYONE is wearing? With the different patches with different blue jean shades and such....

Well ^^ go to a thrift store and buy a pair cheap, and go to...a craft store, o.o buy Fabric paint (Tulip brand's the best =P for me anyways) as many colors as you want ^^ and paint the different patches different things like.....
Fill in some patches, with one color, and keep a few blank, and put zig zags in some, or a design of a flower on one or two....and so forth. Be creative. (hehe why am I saying that in a craft community...of course you will!!!!) Its kinda like making your own quilted jeans ^^ o.o except....a lot less sewing O.o lmao.

Sorry for my rambling, hope you like the idea!
