I seem to have lost my Modpodge stuff and wondered if I can just use white school glue or diluted glue to apply paper to surfaces. I have a photobook and journal with ugly covers but great paper inside and want to refurbish them with some origami paper and maps. So can I use glue??

My husband gave me flowers and I was wondering how I can make the rose petals into potpurri, any suggestions? :)
