Im looking for a kind of printable paper, see-through like, that I can print on and overlay on a collage....so that whatever is printed (say a poem) will show up over the collage) but it everything thing else under the paper where there is no printing will still show through.

surely there is something out there for larger lettering projects like that so you dont have to indvidually stamp and mask or anything?

product names and good places I can get it would be very appreciated.....

thanks!

hi-hi everyone. i've been lurking for a few days and finally decided to come out of the shadows and post.

i've been DIY-ing for years... i'm rather ADD about it, though. you name it, i've tried i- but, chances are, i haven't finished it. i have a slight problem and i hope some of you can give me a little creative inspiration.

i'm getting married in october, and i decided from the beginning that i was going to do all the decorating myself. i'm extremely anti when it comes to the corporate/debutante picture of the perfect wedding.

my fiance is irish, and he has in mind a renaissance type wedding. i'm a little more eccentric... more "Moulin Rouge". our colors are scarlet, cream, and gold. we're getting married at an equestrian center, on a hill with gorgeous views of mountains on all sides.
instead of plastic chairs, we're using rows of hay bales as seating. (covered with tapestry fabric to keep the guests from being poked in the butt ;))
i'm planning to have baskets of red apples with little gold ribbons tied around them as decoration... but other than that, i'm completely stumped.

i'm sorry for the long post, and for the vagueness within... but any ideas or suggestions are desperately needed.

(thanks, [livejournal.com profile] goddessofpurple for the ping pong rainbow light post. definitely using that one!!

Some pics of the pants I made this week for a friend :)

clik clik for more pics )

Its got big ass bak pockets, front pockets, bright blue zipper and fly. I embroidered the spider webs ( one on both leg sides ) using a zigzag- stitch on my trusti sewin machine [!] and bright blue thread. There's also open pockets on the sides, if the spider web isn't hiding it too bad in the pic. It's a cargo pocket minus the flaps.

This design is an old BerrieBlazt ( my clothing line ) original, with out the mesh on the cargo pockets and pocket flap.

Hi everyone!

A while back I mentioned that I was thinking about starting up a site selling knit purses... well here it is.

here's the dealio:

i like to sit on my carport with friends who smoke cigs or just sit out there and relax sometimes....
my neighbors central ac unit is on that side of his house to where when it comes on, it can ruin alot of the peacefulness out there....

any suggestions? theres a white picket-like fence seperating our yards, and a large tree bush already, i dont think i have many options, and i can deal with it otherwise, but was just hoping someone had a cool idea :)

bye bye now

Does anyone know of any websites telling you how to make a corset?

thanks!

Does anyone know what (if anything) I can use to get the printing off vinyl tubing? I was planning on using it to make bracelets and necklaces, but I don't like the printing. My mom suggested using alcohol and nail polish remover, but I'm not having any luck with either. The unprinted section is enough to make a bracelet, and it's only 23 cents a foot, but still.
