I made a rucksack!

It took the longest time and was quite frustrating at times (most of the time). Its padded soo much and could subsitute as a pillow should i ever get lost, never to return or just bored at college :D

Does anyone know the guide lines you have to follow for sending out decorated packages?..I mean, how much of the box/envelop can you decorate before they Send it back to you. I saw a webpage about people who do art on envelops and stuff like that, but I wasn't sure if they could actually send them out.


Does it matter as long as you can read the address clearly? Thanks if anyone can help.

Medicine Bottles

I have TONS of orangey/amber perscription med bottles (unfortunately I aqquire many monthly)
Every time I throw an empty one away, I think there must be some kind of craft project I could be using them for?!

Does anyone have any ideas for a project I can do with my abundance of medicine bottles?

Supplies...

I have come up with a new strategy for obtaining craft supplies. I go to the craft store with my mother, who has little free time. If there is something she wants, she buys the materials and I make it for her. In exchange, she buys supplies for my projects, all in one trip. I'm currently knitting her a large, fluffy neckwarmer/hood thing for the winter, in exchange for which I got an assortment of yarn and paintbrushes. I like the idea of trading services for goods. Happy.

empty rubbermaid tubs

you know those little rubbermaid tubs - sometimes teachers keep school supplies in them or little odds and ends? they are the size of like a pair of shoes? well anyway, i have some of those and im still having space issues in my dorm (i.e. - i was the one who got the desk with no shelves and the one with no underbed storage) so im trying to be as creative with my space as possible so, what do you guys think I can do with those (aside from the regular storing of stuff...im already doing that with my other tubs)
