t-shirt making..

This is a question kind of like the previous post but I am trying to make my own t-shirts and I don't like to use the iron on transfers because the ones that I've used in the past don't hold up to well.

Does anyone know of any good iron on transfers? Or is there another inexpensive way to customize my own shirts with decals?

Hey I'm Joi! I just joined a few minutes ago. Anyway today inspired me to do a project and Iwas wondering if anyone could help me out.Im in need of some newspaper articles from anywhere in the US except NJ. The section that I need is about today's event (september 11th anniversary). SILK SCREENING!

i read a zine the other day where a girl wrote out instructions for very easy & cheap silk screening she learnt to do.

i would scan in it, but it's very simple to explain.

what you need:
- wood : to make a square frame with
- old curtains/ drapery - go to value village and get some screeny material
- waterproof glue
- a stapler
- your acrylic paints / ink

1) make a wood frame
2) staple the screen TIGHTLY onto the frame. very very carefully.
3) take the design you want and trace or draw it onto the screen. fill in all the parts of the screen with glue, or duct tape that you don't want ink to go through.
4) put your paint on the screen and sweep it over the surface. you need something to do this smoothly. a scrape-y thing.
