I'm looking for a pattern or instructions to turn a large, like, OSFA tee shirt into a baby tee. I know there were instructions on the Net once, but I don't know WHERE and Googgle is useless.

Thanks in advance!

I have a Cooler...like the wall kind and its getting chilly with the air coming in, any suggestions on what I can cover it with but without it looking tacky? Thanks guys =o)

As I have no sewing machine (woe is me) I am left to my handsewing skills and tiny amount of free time. I like making purses, but it takes AGES to sew them by hand and make them really sturdy. So. I saw this purse and absolutely love it, but would want to augment it with something of my own design. My question to you is this -- can you use fabric paint (not "puffy paint" -- the fabric paint that comes in bottles applied with a brush) on suede? If not, I suppose I can just paint on fabric and then stitch it onto the suede, but that'll be a bear.

Anyone have experience with painting soft leather?

PS - These are some things I painted for gifts last year... )

Pillow Pictures! )

...And now that im not so afraid of the sewing machine:

Where do you girls get your fabric? Any websites that carry funky cheap prints? Stores that are known to have cheap fabrics, or sales often?

And on another note:
I have TONS of lace. In yards.. ribbons.. snips and scraps. My greatgrandmother used to own a lingerie shop where she made everything herself, so I got boxes and boxes of lace when she passed away. (I also have a ton of old vintage bra/panty/camisole patterns that i'll post here later, if anyones interested)

What can I do with all of it? im up for ANYTHING!

Vintage Lingerie patterns, for anyone who's interested. )

The actual patterns/layouts aren't very scannable, but I can scan the sewing instructions, size charts, measurements, pieces, and notions. The "pieces" will give you a general idea, so you can make the pattern from blank pattern paper. ;] Just leave a comment with whatever you're interested in, and I'll email everything your way.

Pictured are:

Ladies flare leg panty- sizes 4-9.
Girls Bra-slip, Gown, and Lounging PJ's (ADORABLE!). sizes 8-12 (childrens)
