hi - i'm gearing up for some crazy sewing action when i get home for thanksgiving break (i've been going through withdrawl being in college without acess to my mom's sewing machine).. anyways, i was wondering do any of you have any good links for sites where you can buy fabrics online - or any sites along the lines of sparkle craft that i can get ideas from?

I'm looking to buy some Clearsnap Penscore, also known as Magic Stamp. I checked the maker's site, but the shipping is more than the actual stamps. Does anyone know anywhere I can find it in the San Antonio area? Or does anyone know another source I can buy it from that charges less than $5 for the stamps plus $7 shipping? Thanks!

just a hello. im looking into starting a (little!)business soon. i make things inspired by bright colors, mexico, mexican folk art type stuff. mostly for myself, and i have no "knowledge" at all really, so i dont know if im doing things the "right way"...things like that. i'd like to start making gift type things like jewelry boxes, wood and clay crosses, stationery, bath/ kitchen stuff, shirts, art, and handbags eventually.
since the holidays are coming up i'd really like to get started and see if anyone has an interest in this stuff. i might even put together some type of gift package things with bath stuff, and little knick knack things i find at stores/thrift stores/yardsales. maybe themed.. jewelry. sell them online and/or at flea markets soon. i really dont know how itd go at ALL or if people would buy my stuff, but im determined anyway. all my ideas are a mess right now, i dont know where to start.

Collage bumps

I make collages, and I seal them with mod podge. The only problem I have with doing this, is that bumps apear when I put it on the finished product. It's really annoying, to have bumps everywhere.. To put on the pictures I either use a glue stick or tacky glue... I know it could be from missing spots, and leaving them unglued, but I check for unglued spots most of the time and it still happens.

Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening?

does anyone know of a brand or type of paint that would stick to galoshes? I want to make a paint up a pair to look like lady bugs (you know what im thinking about, your kid sister probably has a pair and im too lazy to look for a picture) thanks!
