A few things!

* I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good hemp jewelry books? I want to learn how to make hemp jewelry, but I don't know where to start.

* Is there an easy way to make cookie cutters? I want to make my own shapes to cut polymer clay into uniform shapes after I roll it. I can buy cutters, but they're hard to find in the shapes I'm looking for. I just need something metal or plastic, in squares and circles and things that I can use to cut clay. Help?

* This is the skirt I made tonight, to pass the time when I was avoiding sleep. I've been sewing a lot to get rid of a lot of unused fabric floating around. Oy vey.

Now it's 5:10am, and I'm going to bed!

hi everybody. i'm been really itching to learn how to knit lately. (especially to make things like leg/arm warmers, hats, what have you) however, i'm not exactly sure how to go about learning. can you guys share with me the ways in which you were enlightened to the craft and tell me if you'd recommend the way you learned or not? thanks, i really appreciate it :)

I have a wooden box, kind of like a treasure chest with a rounded top, about 6" by 12" by 18". What should I do with it?

My boyfriend’s mom insists on a Christmas list. And since I can't afford to go out and get anything. I though I would put some craft, jewelry/beading supplies. I just recently got into doing beaded jewelry. I'm still very much a beginner. But I was thinking along the lines of pliers and other useful tools. But I'm really looking for anything I can get my hands onto. I only have a few bits and pieces to get myself by on. And any books that would help me in moving onto that intermediate step in beading.

If anyone can suggest some tools, supplies, and books that are standards to have in the craft kit, I would appreciate the help.
Thanks!!!

I painted this ceramic dog. what can I put over it to make it water-proof and able to weather the outdoors? my dog recently passed away and it's for a garden we're doing where we buried her, so it's really important this gets done well.

I know it's really not the season to ask that, but I want to offer a beach bag to my grandparents for Christmas.. Because every summer I see them and it's about the only time of the year that I spend a long time with them. I know it may sound stupid, but I really can't afford a pattern.. Does anyone know how I could make one?

I don't know how many of you have been to this site, but it is awesome! I have been making a lot of my own jewelry and when I found this site I went nuts. I am the type of person who doesn't trust the internet with my credit card information, so when I saw that they send out free copies of their 580 (!!!) page catalog, I was so happy. So far, I have racked up about a $40 bill, and there is still so much that I want.

So yeah, if you are a bead enthusiast or you would like to make other jewelry items, check it out.
