Okay I am in need of some advice on what to do with two pairs of jeans:
1) I cut the top off them cause they were too high and in the process, the zipper came off so I now need some form of closure on the front (but not velcro, something solid) that doesnt require a sewing machine possibly??
2) a pair of jeans that are just too big for me but I dont want to throw them away..thinking I can make it into a skirt or something but I would like something nice to do to it that also doesnt require alot of sewing...any instructions on how to get them to the skirt stage or any other ideas would be wonderful.

Thanks :)

Something I'm working on. These are wire-wrapped pendants made with gemstones and beach glass.
I love working with wire, because it's fun and easy, and inexpensive. I've been making these over the past few days, and am very proud. I've sold 10 in the last two days, and have about 45 more to sell. Let me know if you're interested in one :}

mm hello. i am new. i make tshirts, bracelets, and bags mostly. i have a website here, but it doesn't have any pictures of any of my work on it. maybe you'll find it interesting though?

anyway, i have two questions. number one: does anyone know where i can buy a button machine (buttons as in pins. like for messenger bags and collars and what not.) aside from online? or a catalog i could order one from? anything that doesn't involve the internet. number two: my father teaches computer science, and gives me all of the broken keyboards. so i have a large collection of computer keyboard keys. any idea what i could do with them? they're so cool, i'm sure they must be useful in some way.

thanks very much

heres my plan... my roomates gone for the weekend. im goin on a cleaning spree, and decorating spree. why? to make her happy when she comes back?... nope. to make my side prettier than hers. mwahaha. any suggestions? im in a dorm room. its small. i pretty much have 3 desks and a wall. im thinkin of painting one of my desks. but. problemo 1. i have no paint : ) so. i dont have an easy way to get to a store. i dont have alotta money. any creative ideas? im goin for the "my sides better than your side!!" deal. my roomates really nice most of the time. but within the last 24 hours, ive seemed to of pissed her off for something or other, and shes been givin me attitude. so instead of bein mean and obnoxious im gonna do the "but she CLEANED HER ROOM!!! and decorateded!!!! AAAAHHHHH SHE PISSES ME OFF!!!" thats what i want her to say : ) mwahahaha : ) thanx in advance.

Hello... just joined the community recently and I have a question for you folks.

I've been working on some new handbag designs that require eyelets... and not just a couple eyelets, over 100 of them. Obviously, when working with an amount that large, the hand setting tools just aren't gonna cut it, and for productivity's sake I need to find a better solution. So do any of you know where to find eyelet setting machines, or if you own one, could you recommend a good make and model? Any help would be much appreciated.

hey- your community kicks ass! everyone here as beautiful minds...i am well and truly inspired by everyone *sniff sniff*

this may seem like a dumb question with an easy answer - but i'll ask anyways because im a bit duh...

did that come across as being a bit air-headed?
my apologies.

anyways - how does one go about making patches? patches which you can then proceed to stick on your bags/clothes/other shit

thanks :)
