This may only be a local thing, but I thought I'd advertise anyway.
I went into Jo-Ann's yesterday and found out they're having a sale on a lot of their non-sewing craft items. Well, the ones important to *me* anyway. :)
The sale runs through February 1 or 2, 2003. ----- I barely managed to resist the yarn, mostly because I already have three projects lined up and didn't want to buy yarn when I didn't know how much I was going to want or need, but I did succumb to the soap. 2 lbs. goat milk soap, 2 lbs. coconut oil soap, a mold of Chinese characters, a mold of Celtic knots, and two fragranace oils.
I think I have about 13 pounds of soap base on hand. I think I need to make SOAP.
Recently I thought it would be super groovie if I learned how to make my own stockings out of happy-stretchy fabric. This is my first pair and I think it's a hoot. Mmmmm gnu sewing machine I luff you sew much!
How come no one mentioned that vinyl, or atleast the kind I bought, is IMPOSSIBLE to sew on a machine? I'm so frusterated cause you all gave me such good ideas. :( Thanks anyways.
