this is a bit silly cause im sure a lot of other people realized it too, but just incase not the album bags that [livejournal.com profile] ms_hecubus posted about are sooo awesome, but some people may not have access to such neat records, or maybe a TON of records. soo here are my two ideas :
♥ dont seal the top of your record bag, and have an interchangeable bag. a record for every mood!
♥ ooor instead of using album covers, you could make a smaller bag and use CD covers, movie covers and what not.
just thought i'd drop those ideas out there! now im off to check the memories section for tips on sewing vinyl!! hehe
good night girls ♥ and boys!

Does anyone here work with glass? Specifically, cutting very small pieces of glass?
I am working on a project using two small (1'") pieces of glass and for the life of me can't get an edge as clean and straight as I'd like. Any tips? I'm using one of the standard hand-held glass cutter tools with the grooves and ball on the end. The finished product will have the edges covered in solder, but I still need the edge to be straight, and for the 2 pieces to be the exact same size.
Thanks in advance. =)
An example of the first (bad) attempt, this one is finished with copper tape, not solder, as it's just the first round.

Could someone tell me a good place to buy truly purple seed beads online? I checked Fire Mountain Gems, but the colours didn't seem to match with the descriptions. Anyone? Please?

I am looking for an India Ink Pen. My father needs it to 'mark' antique veterinary equipment. We have tried the liquid Ink and Pen set-up, but this is too runny.
Would anyone know of where a "pen" may be purchased, either a store or website?? My searches have been nil.

Thank you.

Okay, so I'm planning on making some wine charms with my extra time that I have.... and I'm ordering some wine charm hoops in the 1inch in diameter and they're 21 guage.... whatever that means. What size of beads should I buy to fit onto the wire???? I've not made these before and don't want to buy some beads only for them to not fit, so what do I need to get?

some of my crafts!

I've never actually posted anything, so this will be a first. I still can't figure out how to post pics, so I figured I'd go about it the way I know how.

I rarely take pics of my crafts, but I'm starting to.

the picture frame took me the longest to make, as I had to beat down the bottle tops, and then cut them with tin snips. I also started by using a hot glue gun, but now when they fall off I use my silicone glue to put them back on.

the hat was made for a friend's christmas present and took me a few hours to make.

the wallet I made for me, out of material that cost me $.02 from jo ann's fabric...they were scraps that had obviously been on the table for too long. I did use velcro and extra wide bias tape for the project as well. I have friends who want me to make them wallets as well, so I'm planning on doing so. there's just not enough time.

Someone posted this URL in [livejournal.com profile] glamourbombs and I thought it was a wonderful idea, so I wanted to pass it along.

hey I got a mixed bag of seed beads that I bought off of someone and I don't want them. Nothing is wrong with them, I am just too lazy to sort through them all by color and such. I also have some that I have thrown in like black and white and multicolored clear ones...(confusing eh??)...anyways I got a couple baby jars full of them and I don't want them. Other then throw them away, I thought I would offer them up here. Oh yeah, I have about 3 bags of red mixed in there, so there is alot of red. I could weigh them next time I go to the post office and see what shipping is, but there is like a sandwhich bag packed with them. There is alot. I just dont want them anymore. I am mostly working with blacks and whites and stuff so maybe if someone has something to trade, we can do it that way?? I dunno comment if you are interested.

I've been commenting a bit and watching avidly (and doing a lot of the crafts myself). I finally finally finished my very first knitting prjoect ever. It's a scarf. It's kind of lumpy and weird and random...but I'm proud. It's mine!

Wanna see? )

I am going to go broke because of paperzone.com! :) The ease of ordering craft supplies without even leaving my desk, then when they show up, it's like Christmas!

What is your favourite online craft supplier??

I meant to post this yesterday. oops.
JoAnn has all their canvases and sewing patterns on sale for half-off. Home dec fabrics are all 40% off. Clearance fabrics are 1.99-4.00/yd.
There may be more, but I had to run out of the store before I spent everything in my purse.
