Making a card....

I made a black card stock card for my dad, and in felt on the front there are letters that say happy father's day and little polka dots.

1. Any nice way to get the gluey stuff I got on the black part off? I was doing it in the semi-dark and couldn't tell how much glue was on the card. It's just thinly spread glue in spots. Maybe a q-tip and...something?

2. I have some gel pens my aunt gave me for my birthday. I'd never used them, and I had a yelloe one I thought would match my felt front, but it turns out it doesn't show up on the black card. I tried other colors too. What's the deal, I thought that's what gel pens were all about. Anyone know what else I could use to write on black? I have no white out pens or anything, no silver pens...is there anything you guys know of that shows up on black and that I might have? I could try and thinly paint it?

Ripped a picture off the INTRAWEB and made it into a stencil. (Put it through PSP7, posterized it, then decreased colour count to 2.) Printed it out, cut a stencil and painted it (acrylics) on an old white shirt. My first time doing it, so I didn't do anything crazzzyzyzy. Just thought I'd share.

I made myself a PINK marilyn tee. It's not that funky color it looks in the pics. It's kinda ghetto, considering I just hacked at it with some scissors, threw the image on, and poured some paint & rhinestones on it, but I like it anyway.
IT'S MINE!! My own, my precious... lol.

I finally watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets and now WANT the sweater Mrs Weasley wears. I've been searching for a screen shot of it but am having no luck. It was a crochted kinda nightmare, but I did so love the flarey sleeves and boho-ness of it. I know some wonderfully crafty HP fan out there must know what I'm obessesing about..
or a pattern??

Some guys I know did this crafty thing in their apartment:

When you're done with your bottle of Absolut Vodka (or other glass bottle), fill it with water, break open a highlighter and drop the stick into the bottle. Wait a few days. Line bottles up on a shelf in front of a blacklight tube. Turn off all other lights. It's glow-in-the-dark!

a much-needed craft day

Hi,

I am ohsoclose to starting a business of sorts, selling things like what I made today. I would appreciate any and all feedback you guys might have about my painted goods. Do you think they would appeal to people? I think college students would like them and find them affordable - but that's another issue - I don't know what would be a fair price to ask for this sort of thing.

So yeah, anything you guys can suggest about pricing or appeal, or anything you want to say about my stuff, lay it on me! I want to make a living being crafty and need all the input I can get, from like-minded people. Bring it! :-)
