how do you think they make the insides of the books, do you think they get the paper cut, cut it themselves with their "bindery" or are packs of 6.5x 8.5ish paper available?

i know there are some of you that keep up with the holiday periodicals. being agoraphobic, i don't get out to the news stands, and i was wondering if ya'll would give a heads up to practical crafts for gifts.

my husband isn't much for my crafty artworks, the house is full of them, i live my art. the melted record frames posted here were a flash of brilliance, something i can put pictures of his family in that he hasn't seen yet, and that he will really like. he also wants a buddah pocket shrine, which is no problem, it was like he read my mind on that one.

anyway, thank you in advance and happy holidays to everyone. =}

i am sooo glad i have such gorgeous local yarn shops. i've tried ordering yarn online, but nothing beats being able to pick up and feel the yarn itself.

It's not quite finished yet, but I thought I would share pictures of my stained glass project. Crossposted

first.....here's the Amy Brown picture that's giving me inspiration (I'm following all copyright laws per her website amybrownart.com)

For those who use shrinky dinks: where do you normally purchase them? I have never been able to find them in stores around here.
Or do you just buy them online? Always an option, but I'd like to know if I should request them at joanns or michaels first.

A huge XXL tshirt my mom got for me in Myrtle Beach. It says "Bike Week Myrtle Beach 2003". And has a dragon and wizard on the front. I use to wear it as a night shirt but now it's a dress... It's longer then the pictures show... I forgot to pull it down where it normally would be before the pix were taken.
