How would one make an air freshener? Could you use something like a candle scent? Or some type of scented oil on a sponge maybe? Do candle or soap scents smell enough on their own (without burning or..uh..washing to make a room smell?) Looking specifically for Cotton Candy or Popcorn scent.

in the newest issue of bust magazine, the crafts/cooking/home/health section teaches you to use flat marbles to make "picture marbles" which you can turn into magnets, jewelry, pushpins...
and they recommend using e6000. :)
i've only very rarely seen something other than e6000 suggested on here for marble magnets.

mon amis,

i've a question. howwwwwwwww shall i glue vellum to something without making it curl like a MOTHER and turn corners into really hard peices that could be used as weapons? this bothers me because i love da vellum.

cordially,

I'd like to use glass etching cream to write words freehand on jars. Has anyone attempted writting freehand with glass etching cream before? Does anyone know what kind of brush I could use for this? Do I have to use stencils or not? Thanks!

I was thinking about making a bracelet outta gummi bears ( I think someone in here did this before ) but what can I use that will seal the gummi bear and not turn all nasty?? Could I use clear nail polish? Or should I use something better?

And if you were the person with the gummi bear bracelet, can I see some pictures?? Thanks.

I know many machines have a button hole design in them, but I'm using my mom's ancient singer, and from what I can tell it doesn't make button holes. so I was wondering if it was possible to make them by hand?

thanks :)

Sorry if this is repetitive; I checked out the FAQ, and only two sites were suggested for this!

Places to buy fabric online?

I'm looking for cotton flannel in particular. Thanks!

let me know if this post is not allowed and i will fix it/ delete it! <3 i am not trying to sell or advertise, just get opinions, thanks!

please help me. i am trying to price stuff that i am going to try and sell on my website. i have a couple of formulas in mind, but i also want to know what people think. the prices i have set now are just kind of randomdly thought up and i am not sure... :/ please tell me : about how much would you pay for these things, how much do you think other people would pay, etc?
i dont want to price too high, because then i wont sell anything! but i do not want to price too low at first, then sell a bunch of stuff and have customers and people that like me, then have them hate me when i up the prices all the time and change my mind! i want average, working people to be able to buy my stuff...so i dont want to have pretentious, high prices. but i also spend a lot of time on the stuff that i make and want to charge what i think my time is worth...

i want to have kind of an approximate "set" price for these things:
1. clay, hand-made, hand-painted crosses
2. "mini" crosses of the same kind
3. random miscellaneous art stuff (this stuff bugs me the most! i have NO idea!)
4. hand painted, wood picture frame ornaments
5. hand painted clay ornaments
6. earrings (mostly sterling silver wire/ glass beads)
7. necklaces (mostly sterling wire/ glass beads as well)
8. bracelets (same!)

i made a bag. keep in mind, this is my "prototype" if you will. the next one i make will be better, since i can already point out a bazillion things i would like to change about this one... like the fact that my sewing machine was a, pardon my "french", bitch, and decided to not work, so i did it by hand. and i need to add something to make it not as squashy.
anyways, we will now commence with the
i'm to fleecy for my hamster...bag...
i'm lame only because i'm sleepy. or maybe i'm like that all the time, who knows.
8 billion pics behind the cut
inspired by that one show... )
