I need some sticky-backed vinyl for adbusting purposes ;-) What's the best stuff to use, and where do I get it? I was thinking of using that Fablon stuff, and spraying over it with carpaint and a stencil, but if there's anything cheaper/easier, more importantly, quicker to apply, it might be better! Any ideas? I'd like to be more creative than just blacking out the ad with paint...

xposted to craft n riotgrrrl stuff in the UK ;-)

Hey. I signed up here a wile ago but havnt really posted any thing untill now. I have been recently wanting to make a bean bag. There is a stor at my mall called "Love Sack", and it has the coolest bean bags there that are so big and way comfy! But there way too expensive. So I thought I would make one of my own. So does any one know where I can find instructions or something on how to make one, rather than going out to spend a whole lot of cash on one.

baby lion atop tin i covered with clay. ya, i know lion cubs don't have manes, but it's cute, dammit. my boyfriend thought it was a kitten in a dandelion costume, so you can see it that way if you want. ;p

not exactly craft related, but i thought some of you might know. if i need to delete this, just say the word!

i am looking for a stationary kit for a 9 year-old foster child i work with who is about to be adopted (we have decided to become pen pals once we no longer see each other on a regular basis). i have checked toys r us online and amazon. they are either too kid-like for her or only has like seven papers and envelopes in the set. i was wondering if anybody knew of any online or real life stores i could check out.

thanks so much!

EDIT!!!!

thanks everyone for the ideas. i have decided to make a kit myself. i will post pics when done!

So I want to make these blank purses with printed designs on them..
I dont reall know anything about screen printing or silk screening. Which of these methods is better or easier? The thing is, I wouldnt be using these things very often I dont think. Should I stick with getting some iron ons? If so, which are the best quality papers?

My knitting clubs first meeting just ended. We had so much fun, you wouldn't believe it. We taught Ashley how to knit, and she's doing quite well for a beginner. Well here are the pictures, enjoy! (I'm the one in the black and white stripe skirt by the way!)
Knit it, knit it good! )
