I have been sewing up a storm* lately, and this is what I made today:

Thanks to alustrialcrafts for sharing this link to make the bag! I used a faerie-print cotton for the outside, and an old curtain for the lining. I omitted the third layer of fabric with the corners cut off, and the stuffed flower thing because it didn't suit my purposes. I'm not really sure what it's for anyway. The little "rose buds" at the ends of the drawstrings are my favourite part! (and they're not difficult to do either ^_^)

*The reason for this is that I'm trying to get into a juried art market that will happen at a local folk festival this summer. I'm hoping to sell hats, purses, jewelery, and accessories. I have a feeling that the flower-petal faerie purse will appeal to the hippie-type crowd that this event attracts. At least I hope so!
