I reeaaally need your guys' help. I work at a little family owned ice cream shop. Every year my town has this huge parade at the end of the summer. Well my bosses always say we'll have a float in the parade, but we never get one. This year they caved.

So my predicament is.... I don't know exactly how to decorate it. I mean, yeah, I know I can do ice cream themed stuff on it, but I really don't know of a good inexpensive way to make the float look good. My idea was to make the trailer we're using look like a giant banana split, but my ideas were too time consuming and too expensive.

Granted it doesn't have to be extravagant... but just something neat and creative that'll make everyone just kind of go, "Huh! That's neat."

Any suggestions??

More earrings. What are you gonna do?

Yes, another pair haha. I just love making earrings, though.

This little pair is made from handmade polymer clay flat chips of spiral purples - glazed. Yum.

I put up a better picture of those cat earrings I made.

I left the other pics up to remind myself not to post bad photos.

Thanks.

about a month ago i was throwing out the trash when i noticed a pair of license plates in the trash. so i snatched them up in an instant. i didnt know what to do with them for a while so i just hung them on my wall. a week later i was searching ebay when i found a duct tape license plate purse. im not so good with the duct tape so i made one out of material! my own pattern and everything! i feel so accomplished. sadly i lack of buttons so i just have them stitched on right now. but i will be adding buttons tonight! :)

Ive noticed a few threads on doll make overs here and there. Anyway, I just started my cosmetology course and I have 3 mannequin dummies Id like to personalize since everyone in the class gets the same head. I just dont know what kinda paint to use (I have TONS of acrylics, but I figured those would be easily removable since Ill be using chemicals and all) and if Id need any sort of a primer or sealer?!? Keep in mind if anything fell on her face, id like it to be easily wiped off...the mannequins plastic finish sucks up hair dye and it cant be removed.....any help is greatly appreciated..... thanx

i've been wanting to buy a 1" button maker for a long time, but the cheapest i've found them for are $200. i would prefer not to buy off ebay, unless it is a "Buy It Now" item. are there any 1" button makers out there that are cheap? $80-125 is about the range i am willing to pay/ am able to pay.

I'm mean I'm cruel I dress my poor dogs. I do however make all the clothes I dress them in.

So here is my Lucy Furr in her baby blue dress... it needs to be ironed.

Hairpins

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good source for non-decorated hairpins? Not bobby pins, but the good, heavy-duty, silver-colored type. The larger the better, but all sizes are good. I've tried beauty supply stores, online jewelry shops, wig and milliners supply... even eBay.

I would like to use them for kanzashi flowers, if that helps!

Thank you!

So my friend and his mom got to playing with some sculpy last night and I made a screaming bunny, which I think turned out pretty cute.
Thought I'd share.

I was some sad little pony with no loving home. Some lady picked me up from ebay and decided to give me an evil flare. Although I'm rather unfinished, I thought I'd show myself off to you guys to see how much prettier I am. I'm hoping to have a new vinyl suit by the end of the weekend to be reauctioned as a custom, one of a kind pony. I'm excited of how I'm going to end up. There are a bit of pictures, but that's because I'm a cam-whore. I LOVE ME THUS FAR!
Hither forth, my friend. )

So.

I have a new goal in life.
I want to design bras for people who have a big bust but a small rib cage.
Im currently a D and growing and find it utterly aggravating that everytime I find a cute bra they never even come close to having it in a D, and definately not any bigger than that. Then, when I do find a decent looking bra, the cups fit but the rest is too big! Plus, anything bigger than a B or C NEVER gives any support, and I think those of us with larger busts need more support then the small breasted.

Anyway, I decided to turn to you lovely ladies for some advice. I dont know if anyone has ever tried it before, but how does one go about making a bra? Does any one have any suggestions about the machanics of how such a bra should work?

I would really love any suggestions anyone has to give. If anyone has ever attempted making bras before, your help would be much appreciated. If you've never attempted, but jus thave some ideas, I would appreciate that too.

Thanks a bunch!
