Did anyone save the crochet banana post? The girl crocheted some bananas that could be peeled so they were naked..they had faces and were blushing. i'm interested in buying some...but I know this is not a selling community so i want to try to get in touch with her...but i cant find her post anymore. Does anyone have it saved?

this is part of my recent obsession with using bits of old bones in jewelry. entirely hand made from sheet silver and silver wire, except of course the bone and the stone.

HI there,

I'm a long time-lurker her at craftgrrl.

I got a little ahead of myself and cut up all my tshirts for a tshirt quilt. (I was very excited.)

Little Problem:
I definitely didn't iron any type of stabilizer prior to cutting.
Is there anything I can do now that I have already cut?

Thanks for your help and sorry for text only.

Hey Craftgrrls,

I have some track lighting, like this: http://www.easy-lite.com/images/products/medium/KIT-FX5.jpg - it's in a 'U' shape.

I'd like to spice up my room a bit- and since I'm into photography, I have quite a fair share of photos I'd love to display, by hanging them from the track part of the track lighting- but I'm not quite sure how to do it in a 'classy-ish' way.. I'd really like to keep things from looking tacky.

So far, all I can think of is getting some cheap acrylic frames, drilling holes, and hanging with fishing line- any ideas?!

Thanks!

I just made this little dude, after a friend missed one on [livejournal.com profile] thriftstoreuk... He's not very much the same as the one she missed, he's all new and improved and MuffetStyle!

Oh and for you to drool over him and say how lovely he is...

He's made from Sculpey clay (brought over from my holiday in America) with silvertone findings and then strung on pink yarn with a bead... I've also bought some brooch findings, since I want one for myself now, but as a brooch...

okay, well awhile back, i posted about these wooden toy trains with letters of  my little cousins name "Josh" He lives in another state and hes coming up this week . I was real close to him until he moved and now I decided to give him that gift. I just still didnt paint it yet.

but now he has 2 other brothers named jake & luke and i have to get them a little somehting too. Since trains was Josh's favorite thing and his new room, Jake and Luke's room is about surfing. Does anyone know what I can give my other little cousins. Now remeber they are only 1 and 2 years old.

Also, does anyone have any ideas where I could get microscope slides in Montreal? Preferably relatively cheap ones? I'm itching to try making microscope slide pendants...

i can't stop making these! maybe i'm influenced by the glue fumes :)

the green ones up top are made from clip on earrings, the middle ones are from brooches, and the bottom ones are buttons. thank god for the abundance of garage sales lately, i've been snatching up all sorts of great little adornments :)

Hi girls (and guys), I need some ideas and I was hoping maybe you could help me out...

I work with developmentally disabled adults, and I'm trying to come up with some easy craft projects to do with them. Two rules: 1. supplies can't be too expensive and 2. they must be ADULT-type projects. It's a big rule that all activities be adult-oriented. Unfortunately, most simple craft projects seem to be geared towards children.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks so much, and I'm sorry for the text-only post!! One day I'll get around to photographing my own creations.

This is pretty old, in fact I have got rid of it since then, because I got bored of it. I never did end up posting it on here, I don't think...and just recently gave the links to someone in a comment, so here it is...
