Working 2 jobs and feeling uberstressed has left me physically ill, so I've taken up my old ways of combatting stress...

SCULPY THINGS!
I made 3 bunnies, and 2 key ends, all which look pretty darn cute...

Hey guys, I need some help. I'm looking for papermache balls in fairly small sizes. like 1/2 inch or smaller? The type of paper mache like the kind at hobby stores that are ususally pressed into book shapes, boxes, eggs, ext... but I need balls. Uh, I mean I need spheres. Thas sounds less questionable. XD I can't figure out even where to begin looking, I know none of the craft stores, like michaels, Hobby Lobby, or my ben franklin's carry them as far as I've seen. Anyone have any favorite on-line craft store that might have something? Maybe a planetary kit you've seen like that? All the ones I've seen have styrofoam and that won't work since this has to be baked. :/ Styrofoam gives off fumes when heated too much and wood doesn't ahere well to the super sculpey.

And here randomly is something crafty!

Meet Fenrir. His feet suck, and I need the balls for the joints. please. Fenrir would really, really love to have feet so he can stand.

We took a ton of pictures at the craft fair last weekend but a lot of them weren't even of my bags. Here's a few pictures of my bags set up and some of Sarah's pillows. Even with the crappy weather it was definitely worth buying a table at the streetfest. I ended up selling 16 bags and 4 record bowls. It cost $50 for the table which was pretty cheap so I'll probably continue getting a table there every year.

I bought an adorable cat pin! It actually has a separate head and body (the body can swing a little bit).
The only problem? It is white, painted and then lacquered.
I want it to be black.
Is there any way that I can paint it and have it still be all shiny and what not or am I stuck with it?
I want to make a necklace, using it as the pendant (kind of like the anchor necklace that another person made... but the pendant is smaller.
Any ideas, craftgrrl-ers?

I recently decided to make an old cd case into a bag. I'm pretty new to redoing stuff and only hand sew at the moment, so please be polite!

Hey there everyone. I’m interested in trying to create my own wings for a costume that I’m playing to do for DragonCon this year but I really don’t know how to go about it. Has anyone here made wings before? Any tips, suggestions or tutorials out there that you can share?

Also, in case I can’t get them right, does anyone know of any good places to find nice pre-made wings?

Thanks a bunch!

X-posted to many places.

Since I'm in a very creative element right now I figure I take advantage of this moment.
Here's something else I made this evening in appx. 15 minutes. I thought it would be great to tuck my letters away in this...

I made a collage about two weeks ago, and I finally got around to taking pictures of it. It's on 8x11 cardstock. I might paint it but I'm not sure yet.

I was inspired by [livejournal.com profile] sin_da_rella to finally do something about all the craft supplies that aren't getting any love at home. They're mostly beads and findings; hopefully someone here will want them. Most of the individual bead packages and findings packages are small, so I would prefer not to send them out one by one, since that would be a shipping headache, and my local postal workers already think I'm a bit weird @__@ First come, first served; please leave a comment with what items you'd like and your e-mail if you're interested :)

[Edit:] Thanks everyone! pretty much everything has been claimed. If you weren't able to get what you wanted, then I'm sorry :( I've sent out e-mails to confirmed/pending recipients, but if you haven't gotten one, then please leave a comment here, because I've gotten a bit confused! Happy crafting!
