Hi there, fellow crafters! This is my first post, and it's to ask for some ideas. You see, I have all these wonderful photos that I would love to display of my friends and family, but I am a starving artist, and I can't afford a bunch of frames. The easiest think seems like mounting them on some prettied-up bristol board and hanging them up, but I wanted to see if you all could spark my creative juices with some ideas! Thank you all in advance!

so i just got a fullsize bed, thus rendering all of my extra long twin sheets useless. i absolutely love this one set... any ideas on what i could convert it into? my sewing skills are very much beginner, but i'm pretty quick to learn. oh, and i only have a little battery powered hand stitcher.

thoughts?

Everybody Poops

I'm happy to say I've started doing some drawing again. I have not done much since college, but there are some ideas I am excited about. One series I'll be working on is this ~

Fairies: Behind the Magic
Sure, we'd like to think a fairy's life is all dewdrops and rainbows. But, considering how good they are at hiding from human eyes, we really shouldn't be suprised there is a whole other side of their life that has never been seen. They let their PR People release the pretty pictures to us humans ~ flying through the sky with hair and fabric blowing in the wind, walking along-side a white unicorn... But I felt the need to dig deeper; to reveal the more boring, un-attractive, the more human side of fairy life.


My first in the series ~ "Everybody Poops"
I had a lot of fun working on this one. I might re-color it later, once I try out some watercolors, but I do like the cartoon feel to it as well.



The full version is not adult, but might not be work safe either ;)
