I'm going to make a Kodama costume for an anime con. How should I make the head? I was thinking tape some balloons together to make the lumpy shape, and do paper mache, but I don't know how well that would work. I have about a month and a half. Suggestions for what to do with my feet would also be great.

Where can I get latex or rubber in small sheets? I need about 1 yard x 1 yard. I also need it to be 1/32" and black.

I found a guy who sells it on ebay, but he doesn't have what I need in stock.

Thanks.

*I promise... really soon, I will have a final product to show for all of these questions!*

I collected loads of shells like this ) at our local beach & I really want to make a few necklaces out of them for presents, but I can't work out how to make them into pendants without breaking them. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)

Recently the one store in my city that carried purse-strap hardware/sliders closed down/moved/whatever. I used these sliders [don't know the technical name, if there is one at all] on my purses, and since this is my business it's kind of uhm...imperitive that I find them.

They're rectangular and plastic, with a bar in the middle - exactly the same as the little sliders on bra straps. The ones I got were plain glossy plastic with no company or brand name and I have yet to find another store that carries them or even knows what they're called.

Does anyone have any idea what these sliders are called, who makes them, and where I can order some? My one supplier that might have had a lead on some has been ignoring me and not getting back to me on this, I have an order to fill that's long overdue and I'm at my wits end here!

Cheshire Cat

I made this guy for my friend's birthday. She LOVES Alice in Wonderland. The Cheshire Cat is 19" long, from front paws to the end of his tail. His tail is also poseable.

ok, before i start another project, i need a bit of help.
i'm sort of asking around (my mom, friends, etc) about this idea because i'm not sure what to do...
i'm making a black zip up hoodie with a screenprinted design on the front and the back. now the question is...which should go on the front and which should go on the back?
here are the stencils [i know there's typos and mess ups and what not, but i just kicked this out real quick to get an idea )

So I'm not very crafty (but enjoy seeing what others make in this community). I've been invited to a costume party and I thought I might like to be a pirate. What would I need? Oh, I'm female and don't want to look like a guy but don't want to look like a "hooker pirate" either. You know, you've seen those outfits for witches where they look more like "hooker witches".

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Is there any reason why someone couldn't take like two twin sheets that are awsome, but to small for your needs and sew them together to make a super sized sheet? What about with thin ish baby quilts? Or baby recieving blankets.

I make these plaster of paris piece moon and star molds, it's a huge circle with a cresent moon in it and a star to the side, what color combinations would look compatible together and purhaps be a neat design to look at? I have tried orange black and green with sucess, and I am wondering perhaps about zircon blue and topaz for a moon.

This is my first Halloween Doll and she is 11 inches tall when standing and made out of stuffed muslin that I painted with acrylics from top to bottom with a Siamese cat, bats, spider webs, spiders, full moons, a witch riding a broom, vines, pumpkins and much more. The doll is done in shades of blue, purple, black, gold, copper, orange and more, most of the paints used on this doll are iridescent and sparkle in the light. The hair is hand sewn yarn in many different colors.

This doll also comes with three handmade clay masks to dress up with for the holiday, one is a blue one with stars in the night sky, one is a pumpkin face, and the third is done in an African style. Each clay mask has elastic on it so that it can be placed on the doll as well as a silver wire loop at the top so that you can wear it as a pendant.
