I've been learning some new techniques. I want to practice my crochet so I can do it with beads. It has been YEARS!

I also put up a picture of the new knotting technique I learned in class. It was so fun I am going to try and take one class a month next year.

My boyfriend's dad's birthday is Saturday and I wanted to give him some baked goods for his birthday. He likes little novelty goodies, so I was thinking I'd make him some Batman-themed cookies. But HOW could I do that? It's not like I have a bat-shaped cookie cutter handy. What should I do?

Here's a picture of my cousin's Halloween costumes from last year as a hopeful source of inspiration?

Also?

I LOVE THANKSGIVING.

I know this is going to sound odd, but im trying to find a proper metal to use in a cilice - it needs to be flexible enough that I can bend it into loops/links, but durable enough so that tightened pressure wont bend it out of shape (they are for wear around the legs or arms). I'd prefer something that can be found in a craft store, but I am thinking I might have to go to a hardware store, and i was wondering if anyone knew specidfic types/names of link wire/chain that I can bend with plyers. Loos to me like something you could make a fence from.

Hi, a week ago or so I posted about my article on craft which is now wonderful and finished and thank you so much to every one, even the people whos quotes I didnt use, I still enjoyed reading what everyone thinks.

I have another mini request, Im making a little collage of images and I dont have many photos of things Ive made that I like lol. So I was wondering if a few people could email me some pictures of things theyve made. My email address is kr103169@falmouth.ac.uk I would really appreciate it if a couple of people did this.

When Im all finished Ill let everyone see the finished article :)

Thank you again!

Berg xx.

As a non-crafty person, I need some qualified opinions:

What would you, as a crafty person, enjoy receiving for Christmas (that's craft-related)??

I've looked in the memories, but I couldn't really find anything that fit.

Thanks very much!

Hey ladies and gents!

I'm searching for some craft items made by a few of you kinda a while ago. I'm only posting this because I've scoured the FAQ/Memories, and used LJ Seek until it kinda went k'thunk and broke down... SO! If anyone out there can help me find the following items/crafters, you'll have my undying thanks and promises of cookies that you'll probably never actually receive! :D

I'm searching for the following:

MONSTERS! Someone on here once made these FABULOUS monsters. Their faces were made of Sculpey, I believe, as well as their fingernails and toenails. They were extremely colorful, the bodies being made of that awesome two-color monster fur fabric hairy stuff. The faces were very whimsical and detailed - most of them had fangs and big bulging eyes.

STARS! Someone on here made a pendant. It had a silver backing, it was oval-shaped, and filled with little stars in various shades of blue. I fell hopelessly in love with the thing - it was gorgeous. I believe it was hung on black nylon cord.

THAAAAAANKS in advance. :D

IDEAS NEEDED!

To pass the time, I made some little clay animals.

They are made out of swirled clay (in various colors) and are about 1 in. tall. They don't have faces . .they're just poses, really.

Because they're so small, I have NO IDEA what to do with them!!

I don't want them to be pendants . .I'd rather not poke holes in them. And I don't want them to be useless little figurines that just stand alone.

HELP!!

Thank you!
Katherine, from Zillion

Y'know those plastic ornaments that seperate into two pieces? What do you think of me color printing a picture of a friends child and then mod podging the picture into the ornament? Do you think this would be difficult? Would the mod podge distort the picture? I'm just trying to think of a way to personalize them a little more...

With finals coming up I am a stress case and the only thing that seems to relax me is making necklaces. I have made ALOT of necklaces in the past few months (not a good sign because it means I'm to stressed out lol ).

I have finally made a necklace that I love so much I'm not going to give away or sell. It's made out of ARCHIE COMICS !!!

I also made a bunch of hoop necklaces, they are so much fun to make and they look so cool on.
