Simple Instructions: 1. Buy sushi toys. 2. Take out the sushi toy's mechanical parts. 3. Cut holes in sushi. 4. Thread ribbon through. 5. Wear with lots of Asian food pride!

I thought I would pass along a link I saw while reading the latest Adorn magainze... I have cabin fever and am SO ready for summer to be here so this caught my eye.

Its: http://www.stitchnpitch.com/

20 major league baseball teams are hosting needlework-themed craft nights at games all summer, with free tote bags full of yarn and craft supplies.  You can get tickets and all the details (although the website itself is kinda lame) at the website!

This was my first time glass etching with a dremel engraver. It was SO much fun! :)

My mother in law put me on a quest to make her a fish bowl. She got an award at Texas A&M by having one of the fish camps named after her. She wanted something to commemorate the time. She gave me a pic of a poster of a purple fish they gave her and I came up with this:

I'm very pleased with how it came out :)

Im looking for online resources for lists of projects/ creative exercises... similar to keri smith's 100 ideas http://www.kerismith.com/funstuff/100ideas.htm
or the 100 projects for artists and illustrators http://danidraws.com/2007/02/21/101-projects-for-artists-and-illustrators/

any other sources?

ok, so i have a collage on foamcore thats odd-sized, so i cant find a frame for it(and i dont have the time or cash to get it framed). i need to figure out how to hang it by probably 10:30 tomorrow morning.(its a long story on why the short time frame)

ETA-its going to be hanging on a brick wall(or possibly leaning against something on a table) just for tomorrow night.

i have no idea what to do, short of maybe gluing some shallow brads into the back and tying wire to it....

any advice?

I made this from Sculpey as a V-Day present for my boyfriend. I used moon shaped metal candleholders and drew up a desgin to fit around it. The beads are mostly the ones that come in suncatcher kits. I was hoping they would melt but no such luck.

Anyway, on to my question. Where can I find a good paper bead tutorial? Theres a link in the memory section that no longer works. Link me to something you guys find helpful, the more detailed the better!

I've just finished sewing up a quilt and I was thinking about making those little yarn tufts between the blocks, but I've never done it before and can't seem to find a tutorial online or anything. It seems pretty straightforward, but I'd hate to ruin the thing now that I've worked so hard on it. Are there any other quilters out there that might have a tutorial or suggestions? Maybe a recommended quilting community (everything I found seemed pretty dead).
